Preparation: Choose service type FCL & Ro-Ro LCL & Air Inland
1st Step: FIRST OF ALL YOU NEED TO CREATE AN EXCEL FILE (*.xls) WITH YOUR RATE DATABASE.
a. Create a new Excel document. Titles of columns in the 1st row of the worksheet must be as following (Image 1): Column A: ORIGIN CITY I.e. Origin city in the Origin country Column B: DESTINATION CITY Column C: DESTINATION COUNTRY Column D: TRANSIT TIME (in days) Column E: TRANSSHIPMENT VIA (name of seaport for transshipment, if any) Column F, G, H…: Units of measure assigned by you (i.e. ocean freight rate per 20’, 40’).
b. Enter in your database list of available Origins/Destinations; Transit time (if available); Transshipments ports (if any) and Ocean freight rates corresponding with titles of your spreadsheet (Image 2).
However, Origin/Destination combinations with missed data will NOT appear in your price calculator. I.e. Origin/Destination combinations with no value entered in at least one cell will be ignored by the system.
(Exemptions: Data in ‘Transit time’ and ‘Transshipment via’ columns. Data for ‘Transit time’ and ‘Transshipment via’ columns may not be entered. If it is not entered then it will not return value for ‘Transit time’ and ‘Transshipment via’ in your price calculator.)
THE RULE FOR COLUMNS F, G, H…Z: In columns F, G, H…Z you may assign any units of measure associated with your service. (i.e. ocean freight rate per 20’, 40’).
For your convenience you may download this already formatted Excel file with a variety of Origins/Destinations.

Origin city in the Origin country Column B: DESTINATION CITY Column C: DESTINATION COUNTRY Column D: TRANSIT TIME (in days) Column E: TRANSSHIPMENT VIA (name of seaport for transshipment, if any) Column F, G, H…: Units of measure assigned by you (i.e. rate per Cubic Meter, per Cubic Foot or TON / CBM; OR rate per Liner Meter etc with gradation numbers, see Advanced Help below).
THE RULE FOR COLUMNS F, G, H…Z: In columns F, G, H…Z you may assign any units of measure associated with your service. (i.e. rate per Cubic Meter, per Cubic Foot or TON / CBM; OR rate per Liner Meter etc with gradation numbers).
You should point gradation for every rate column, for example you have 3 columns: "Rate per up to 10 CBM", "Rate per more than 10 CBM" and "Rate per more than 15 CBM", you shoud add limitation number at the end of the first rate - "(0)", "(10)" at the end of the second and "(15)" at the end of third, and the result will be look like that that: "Rate per up to 10 CBM(0)" - (0 inclusive to 10 inclusive) "Rate per more than 10 CBM(10)" - (10 not inclusive to 15 inclusive) "Rate per more than 15 CBM(15)" - (15 not inclusive to infinity) If you want, you may set limitation number for first rate, for example to "2", instead of "0", that means, that quantity equal or more than 2 - will be minimum ordered quantity, so rate title will be look like that: "Rate per up to 10 CBM, 2 is minimum (2)". NOTICE: Smallest gradation number is always inclusive. NOTICE: Arrangement order of rate columns is not important.

Titles of columns in the 1st row of the worksheet must be as following (Image 1): Column A: Place of Pickup or Delivery Column B: Considered Zone Column C: TRANSIT TIME Column D: Transshipment VIA Column E, F, G…: Units of measure assigned by you (i.e. rate per Cubic Meter, per Cubic Foot or TON / CBM; OR rate per Liner Meter etc with gradation numbers, see Advanced Help below).

You should point gradation for every rate column, for example you have 3 columns: "Rate per up to 100 lbs", "Rate per more than 100 lbs CBM" and "Rate per more than 1000 lbs", you shoud add limitation number at the end of the first rate - "(0)", "(100)" at the end of the second and "(100)" at the end of third, and the result will be look like that that: "Rate per up to 100 lbs(0)" - (0 inclusive to 100 inclusive) "Rate per more than 100 lbs(100)" - (100 not inclusive to 1000 inclusive) "Rate per more than 1000 lbs(1000)" - (1000 not inclusive to infinity) If you want, you may set limitation number for first rate, for example to "50", instead of "0", that means, that quantity equal or more than 50 - will be minimum ordered quantity, so rate title will be look like that: "Rate per up to 10 lbs, 50 is minimum (2)". NOTICE: Smallest gradation number is always inclusive. NOTICE: Arrangement order of rate columns is not important.
2nd Step: AFTER YOU ARE FINISHED WITH THE EXCEL FILE, CLICK THE "BROWSE" BUTTON IN THE FILE UPLOAD FIELD BELOW, LOCATE THE FILE ON YOUR DISK AND UPLOAD IT TO THE WEB SERVER (Image 3). Your Automated Quoting System (AQS) will be generated instantly.
