Initially the AQS was created for licensed Ocean Transportation Intermediaries (OTI), Seafreight Logistics and Customs brokers in the USA and other countries worldwide. Instructions for AQS setup in the web site were developed for businesses related to international cargo transportation by sea. If you are a licensed OTI, please follow the instructions in the CREATE YOUR RATE-CALCULATOR section of the web site.

As long as you are familiar with MS Excel, you should not experience difficulties when building your first rate database and uploading it to our web server in order to generate your AQS. Please, feel free to contact us with any questions.

Let's assume that upon uploading your Excel file you received the following HTML code in order to insert your web-calculator in your web-page:

a. You can adjust width and height of your calculator by changing "width" and "height" attributes of iframe tag.
For example: You may set width=”470” and height=”540” in order to fit your calculator in iframe. The result will be like that:

2. HOW TO ADD SURCHARGES TO YOUR BASE RATES?

You can add and edit an unlimited number of surcharges to the base rates designated in your Excel database. (Samples of surcharges: Fuel Surcharge or BAF – Bunker Adjustment Factor; CAF – Currency Adjustment Factor; Suggested 50/50 shared profit; ORC – Origin terminal Receiving Charges; Containers Pre-carriage etc.).

• Login in your Web-admin in using your e-mail & password http://partners.wtxglobal.com/admin/login.php
• Click on ‘SURCHARGES’ tab in the blue menu bar near the top of the screen.
• Type Surcharge name (example: Suggested 50/50 shared profit) and the Surcharge Abbreviation (example: Profit). Click ‘Create’ button. The Surcharge Abbreviation will appear in Rate Manager Control panel.
• Click on ‘Rate Manager’ bookmark and select group of rates that you are going to add the surcharge to. (Notice: you can select all rates. I.e. any origin-destination countries and cities). Click the select button.
• Select the surcharge you’ve added in the “Rate Routine” section.
• In section 3, type the surcharge amount in USD corresponding to each unit and press ‘Commit Changes’ button. Your surcharges will appear next to the rates selected and published in your Web-calculator’s rates will reflect these surcharge (example: your suggested 50/50 shared profit will be added to your base rate)
